if (gameboard[0] == gameboard[1] == gameboard[2] == 'X')

没有做你想做的事。由于运算符优先级,它被评估为

if ( ((gameboard[0] == gameboard[1]) == gameboard[2]) == 'X')

无论gameboard[0]gameboard[1]gameboard[2]的值是什么,表达式((gameboard[0] == gameboard[1]) == gameboard[2]) == 'X'将始终评估为false,因为((gameboard[0] == gameboard[1]) == gameboard[2])将为true(1)或false(0)。

换句话说,上面的if相当于:

if (0)

要修复逻辑,请使用

if (gameboard[0] == 'X' &&
    gameboard[1] == 'X' &&
